Heather Castro

Coach Heather Castro caught the “volleyball bug” during her sophomore year at Piedmont Hills High School.  It was her basketball coach who encouraged her to try out, and she hasn’t stopped playing since.  She went on to play at San Jose City College for Coach Sam Huerta whom she credits for much of her improvement during that period.  Even after 10 years of marriage, and while raising a 2 year-old son and 4 year-old daughter, Heather continues to play “anytime, anywhere.”
